The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ) invites applications for scholarships from students who have been accepted at State universities for undergraduate degree programs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related disciplines, which include, but not limited to, Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or any discipline with a focus on emerging Information Communication Technologies.
• Be Zimbabwe nationals;
• Not hold dual citizenship;
• Hold at least 15 points in STEM subjects at ‘A’ Level, earned at most 12 months prior to the Application Deadline date;
• On or before the Scholarship Application deadline date, have been admitted unconditionally (except for funding) for the upcoming academic year at a state university in Zimbabwe. A copy of the letter of admission must be submitted together with the application;
• Not be a close relative of any POTRAZ employee.
Applications from students not admitted to a STEM related program will only be considered for the Scholarship Program if the applicant has been accepted at a State university that does not offer studies in STEM related disciplines. Applications will be accepted online via the provided webform until 23:59 on Sunday 4 September 2022. For more information about the Scholarship Program, visit the POTRAZ website: www.potraz.gov.zw.

“Please have the attached copy of the reference form completed by at least 2 referees from your previous schools, preferably the Headmaster, one of your teachers, or another senior official at the school. Once they have completed the forms they should email them to the email address indicated at the bottom of the form, using their own email addresses. The reference forms should not be given to the applicants.”
