Internet Access Provider "Class A" - Fees

Licence Application Fees

Licence fees

In consideration for the granting of the licensee the rights to construct, maintain and provide Internet Access Providcer Class "A" services, the licensee shall pay to the Authority the fees indicated below:

i)    An initial license fee of four million United States dollars (US$4,000,000.00);
ii)    An annual license fee of 3% of the audited annual gross turnover, or hundred thousand United States Dollars (US$100,000), which ever is greater.
ii)    A contribution to the Universal Service Fund of one percent (2%) of audited annual gross turnover.

Other fees

Number fees
The licensee shall pay, in advance, an annual number usage fee for services that require the use of a public numbering scheme like Voive over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Telephony.

Spectrum fees
The licensee shall pay, in advance, an annual frequency usage fee for services that require the use of the radio spectrum at the rate prescribed by the Authority.

  • To promote the development of postal and telecommunication systems and services in accordance with practicable recognised international standards and public demand
