AFRALTI - Masters Degree in Communications Management

The African Advanced Level Telecommunications Institute (AFRALTI) is offering an opportunity for all interested Malawians in the ICT Sector to earn a Master’s Degree in Communications Management by eLearning offered jointly by United Kingdom Telecommunications Academy (UKTA) and Buckinghamshire New University (BNU). AFRALTI intends to run this program in Kenya, Zambia and Malawi through four block release seminars of one week each over a three month period beginning January 2015 to October 2015. This is an opportunity for officers in the ICT industry to achieve an incredible value proposition with regards to cost savings for undertaking a Masters course of study whilst being productive at the workplace. The four modules to be covered are as follows:

1. Legal, Regulatory, Policy & Environment of a Converged Society (LRPECS);

2. Project Management of the ICT Commercial Environment (PMICE);

3. Human Capital Management (HCM) & Management of Contracts within an ICT Society (HCMIS); and

4. Strategic Management for ICT (SMICT) A Masters degree will be awarded upon successful completion of all the four modules and a dissertation. The cost of per each module is GBP750 including assessment.
